Networking
Networking is more than just making computers talk to each other and to peripherals like printers and routers. Today's environment is much more complex than even 10 years ago. You have your internal network. Your Wide Area Network. You have Point to Point T1's and hardware or software VPN's. You can communicate with other companies systems via EDI or "pseudo" EDI where you use the standard layouts but your own data transmission servers. You may have multiple corporate sites or multiple company representatives that need to send and receive data throughout the day or night.
